Occasionally customers have commented that they are surprised to be charged VAT when they reach the checkout. As with most - if not all - wholesalers, our prices are shown without VAT, but all items and carriage are subject to the addition of vat at the current rate of 20%. Companies that show prices including VAT are usually selling to the general public rather than to trade buyers.
We clearly state on every page and every item that all prices exclude VAT. There is also a notice shown above the shopping cart which can be seen when items are added. Additionally it is stated in the Terms and Conditions which you must agree that you have read and accept before you can complete your order.
By Law we have to charge VAT on all products and services within the UK and pass it to HMRC.
