UK Mainland Carriage on orders valued under £250 ex vat are charged at a flat fee of £6.99 and shipping is FREE on orders over £250 ex vat. This is usually a 3-5 day service. We do offer a Next Working Day Express service at £19.99 per order, which must be received before 11am on the day of despatch (weekdays only). Orders received after 11am will be processed the following working day. This service is not available to remote and offshore areas.
Scottish Isles (including Skye), N. Ireland, Isle of Wight and Isle of ManCarriage to offshore areas is £18.50 on orders under £250 ex vat and £12.50 on orders over £250 ex vat. Delivery is usually 2-3 days from despatch, however this is not guaranteed. A Next Working Day service is not available to these areas.
Channel Islands of Jersey and GuernseyCarriage is £18.50 on orders under £250 and £12.50 on orders over £250. Delivery is usually 3-4 days from despatch, however this is not guaranteed. VAT is not charged on orders to the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey, but you must select this option as the shipping destination when entering your details at registration so it doesn't calculate VAT and add it to your total.
Republic of Ireland Carriage is charged at a rate of £14.50 per box. The website will only charge for the first box. If the items are too bulky or too heavy to be shipped in one box, we will advise you via email that further carriage charges will be required. We reserve the right to cancel an order and refund your payment should you decide not to pay any extra carriage charges as required. If you are registered for VAT in ROI, please advise us of you vat number before making payment and we can exempt your orders.
All deliveries are made by our courier Interlink Express Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays) to the shipping address given. We will send you a shipping confirmation to the shipping email address you give on your order on the day of despatch. Please enter this information accurately as we cannot be responsible for emails not being received by customers due to incorrect inputting onto our system by the user. When you receive this email you can expect delivery to UK Mainland orders within 1 working day and all UK Offshore, Republic of Ireland and remote destinations within 2-4 working days.
If your order is not received within this timeframe, please let us know promptly by calling us on 01502 501681 or emailing salesdesk@candigifts.co.uk and providing your order ID. We can then investigate the delay. Please be aware that these delivery times are a guide and are not guaranteed by Interlink Express. Therefore we cannot be held responsible for any delays beyond our control causing your consignment to be delivered outside of these times.
As the customer, it is your responsibility to ensure that someone will be available to sign for and take delivery of the consignment at the shipping address you give. If no-one is available, a card will be left by the courier for you to contact the depot directly and make alternate arrangements.
IF YOU DO NOT MAKE CONTACT WITH THE DEPOT AND THE GOODS ARE SUBSEQUENTLY SENT BACK TO US BY THE COURIER, YOUR ORDER WILL BE CANCELLED AND YOU WILL INCUR FURTHER SHIPPING CHARGES AS APPLIED BY THE COURIER FOR THEIR RETURN. IN ADDITION THERE IS A £15.00 + VAT CHARGE FOR ADMINISTRATION, RE-STOCKING AND PROCESSING FEES WE ARE UNABLE TO RECOVER.
A refund will be issued to you within 30 days from the date the returned goods arrive back at our warehouse via the method of payment used when ordering, less the carriage costs incurred by us when the order was sent and any costs applied by the courier to return the order to us, in addition to a £15.00 + vat re-stocking fee. If your order was carriage paid and is returned, we reserve the right to reclaim the actual shipping charges incurred by us when the order was sent and any costs applied by the courier to return the order to us, plus a £15.00 +vat re-stocking fee. This figure will be deducted from the total paid by you and the remaining balance will be refunded.
Unwanted items can be returned to us within 7 days of delivery by prior arrangement only. A credit will be issued for the goods only, providing they are returned unused and undamaged. This can be redeemed against future orders. Carriage costs paid when ordering and incurred returning the items will not be reimbursed, and any carriage costs we have incurred over and above any shipping charges the customer paid when ordering will be deducted from the credit. A fee of £15.00 + vat will be also be charged for re-stocking and administration. A credit will be emailed to your registered email address within 30 days from the date the returned goods arrive back at our warehouse.
We do not operate on a sale or return basis and therefore would expect that if you choose to return an item, you would return the whole amount of that item and not the ones you don't sell. We reserve the right to reject requests to return part quantities of an item purchased. Please be aware that if you order enough of a particular item which entitles you to bulk discount, and we accept the return of only some of the item, your credit will be calculated as if you only ordered the amount you keep.
Should your order qualify for free or reduced delivery rates and you subsequently choose to return some of the goods for credit and in turn reduce the actual spend on the corresponding order to below the total spend needed to qualify for the free or reduced shipping charges, we will deduct the relevant amount that would have been applied from your credit. For example: your order is for £260 ex vat to one UK address. This would be sent carriage paid as the order exceeds the £250 ex vat threshold. If you then return £50 worth of stock, we will refund the £50 stock MINUS the £6.99 carriage fee that would have been applied if the order had only been for £210 ex vat initially and MINUS the £15.00 re-stocking fee. Therefore the credit would be for £28.01 ex vat.
However, if you return all or part of an order which qualified for either carriage paid or reduced shipping and has been shipped on pallets, we reserve the right to claim back the actual shipping costs we have paid in sending the goods to you. For example, you may have ordered a large consignment of hampers which would entitle you to free or reduced shipping, but would actually incur shipping charges of a minimum £60.00 to ourselves to deliver the goods to you. If you decide to return them to us, we will claim back from you the actual pallet shipping rates we were charged by the courier, plus the £15.00 administration and re-stocking fee before crediting.
We reserve the right to recover any shipping costs incurred by us when an order has been shipped and subsequently returned.
Damages must be notified within five days in writing either via email to salesdesk@candigifts.co.uk or post to Customer Services, Candi Gifts, Units 3-5 Quayside Business Centre, School Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR33 9NW. Claims outside of this time will not be considered.
Payment must be cleared prior to dispatch. We do not offer account facilities.
All prices are in GBP and we only except transactions in Sterling. Should you use a credit or debit card or any other method which is converted from a different currency into GBP, we are not liable for any charges you may incur. Should a refund need to be issued for any reason, we will refund the value in GBP. We cannot be responsible for any loss of funds due to fluctuations in the exchange rate or any charges you may incur.
Payment methods accepted are: Visa, Mastercard, Visa Delta, Solo and Switch. Cheques or postal orders/bankers drafts to be made payable to Candi Gifts. Cheque payments will need to clear before goods can be dispatched - please allow an extra 14 days.

The Buyer must carefully examine all goods immediately upon their arrival. In the event of damage to the goods in transit or any short-delivery, in the case of goods dispatched by Carriers, written notification thereof with the claim must reach the Company and the Carrier by post within 3 days of receipt of goods (such notification also to be indicated on the Carriers own documents). In the event of non-delivery of goods dispatched by Carriers such notification and claim must reach the Company within 7 days of the date of invoice. In the event of a failure to comply with the above requirements; claims in respect of damage in transit, short-delivery or non-delivery etc., will not be accepted by the Company and in no event whatsoever will the Company be liable to the Buyer in respect of such loss or damage beyond which it has been able to recover from the Carrier or other third parties.

All our baskets are hand-crafted from natural materials - therefore please allow tolerances on all sizes quoted. Sizes quoted are measured from the top and outside of each basket, not including handles (where applicable).
